In these five original twelve-tone pieces, written here for chamber string ensemble, I explore a relationship with dissonance, the seeming randomness of atonal writing and what might sound pleasing.

Given the parallels of our socio/economic conditions today to those of the Weimar Period, I wanted to become better acquainted with the writing and artwork of the time as a reaction to what may be considered the conservative romanticism of empire.

In my original cover art for this EP I also wanted to capture the architectural style of the era.

These pieces were written and recorded in LogicPro X using Spitfire Audio Studio Strings.
